EVERYTHING’S FINE

As Matt Corby shaped his third studio album — hailed by Rolling Stone as “a glimpse of the sonic sophistication” — the creative vision evolved alongside the music.

The visual direction drew from contrast: naïve, hand-drawn illustrations clashed against a jarring fluorescent palette. A playful facade laced with contradiction — hinting at the deeper emotional weight buried within the songs.

“Corby's most innovative, sonically adventurous and resonant album yet.”

In collaboration with illustrator Niqui Toldi, we threaded darker life concepts through the playful illustration style — visual 'Easter eggs' hidden beneath the buoyant, joyful aesthetic. Details designed for discovery, revealing deeper emotional truths through repeat viewing. A world built on duality: bright on the surface, heavy underneath.

Working side by side with Corby, we shaped a hand-crafted world of tension and duality: vulnerable yet composed, light yet heavy. Every element — from artwork to digital activation — was designed to feel intimate, subversive, and human. An invitation not just to listen, but to linger between the lines.

The creative language extended seamlessly across the campaign — from the album artwork and digital assets to out-of-home, street posters, music videos, and a long-form documentary film. Every expression carried the same layered tension: playful on the surface, revealing deeper emotional undercurrents for those willing to look closer.
