MILD PANIC

A HOWL publication supported by Young Henrys, Mild Panic captures the cultural footprint of iconic Australian live music venues. Edition One—The Lansdowne Hotel. It's a loud, unflinching visual exposé of the high-voltage moments—on stage, off stage, and deep inside the notorious band rooms that pulse through our cities.

Scope

This is a fleeting glimpse into live music's raw, electric energy—the kind that swells in a room where nothing else exists but sound, sweat, and that all-too-familiar feeling.

‘It’s that deep breath - in and out - that says “I’m ready and I’m ok with what’s about to happen”.’
- Paul Liddle, Editor

Edited by Paul Liddle and designed by long term collaborator Clay Ciolac. Mild Panic features an unprecedented curation of Australia's most influential Australian music photographers featuring work by Photographers; Dani Hansen, Dougal Gorman, Four Minutes To Midnight, Grit Van, James Adams, Maclay Heriot, Mclean Stephenson, Pat, O'Hara, Pat Stevenson, Paul Liddle, Ruby Boland, Tim Adam, Tom Wilkinson

The publication was launched and available exclusively at Semi Permanent, Australia's premier creative industries conference, Mild Panic emerged as a 100-page, magazine-style coffee table book—selling out during the event. A second run was made available online at Mild-Panic.com. It, too, didn't last long, and it sold out in just a few days.

Mild Panic was celebrated with an event at The Lansdowne Hotel, featuring live performances and a gallery-style exhibition. It was a wild ride, a night that will live in our minds for many years. Thanks, Young Henrys.
